Happiness
Reflecting on what happiness depends on, I established that it depends on our ability to play. We must not confuse play with competition and rivalry, nor happiness with joy. In play, there is no desire to win, and there are no winners or losers. Although the opposite is claimed, it seems to me that a person’s life repeats the history of humanity – that in the beginning, man was happy, and through his development, he has sunk deep into unhappiness, not the other way around. Isn’t childhood the beginning? No one teaches children how to play. They simply know how to play and they do it. The task of so-called adults is to teach children how to stop playing. To teach them that life is a competition and that they must win at all costs. To teach them that playing is foolish, and as proof, they present their own successfully ruined personal lives.
